Event Description
Building and single wide trailer fire. While performing fire attack inside of single wide trailer, experienced partial floor collapse causing about a 1.5 foot fall and loss of balance. Full PPE was being used and PAT tags in use. Working fire profile was on location with RIT team standing by. Self extricated and evaluated by medic. No injuries.
Lesson Learned
1. Single wide trailer construction fails quickly in a fire.
2. Conditions can change rapidly causing a Mayday situation.
