Event Description
During training a 5" quick-connect disconnected from the 5" port on the hydrant. The 5" supply line was charged at the time. Hose struck firefighter in left knee.
Lesson Learned
Keep all personnel away from hydrant connections when hydrant is charged and after it has been charged when using this device. Or don't use the device.
